Oh my goodness!!! How cute and sweet is this little face?? Unfortunately, his smile does not tell the entire story...sigh

Little Danny Nickerson, of Foxboro, MA has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and statistically this will be his last birthday, July 25. His only request is to receive birthday touching is that? We are all cardmakers and perhaps we could all step up to the plate and make this his happiest of birthdays. I know we all are keyed into the lovely comments and kind evaluations we receive about our cards, but what is the REAL meaning of cardmaking, if not for the joy we bring to others??? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE join with me in sharing one of your cards with this darling of little guys so that his wish will come true. Even if you are too far away for the card to get to him in time for his birthday I can only guess that he will be exceptionally thrilled to see cards from afar!!!

For my card today I inked up the little darling For You image and I can tell you that this little girlie with her balloons is bound to make you smile!!

The base and all triple matting is Bazzill and I have no idea what the DP you know, please let me know and I will add a note to this posting. I just saw it in my stash and knew it was CHEERFUL!!! The little girlie was colored with Copics, Promarkers, and Mepxy, adding some Wink of Stella to the balloons. For the sentiment I used the Whimsy Mini Chalkboards sentiment set cut out with the Whimsy Mini Chalkboard Die. The pennant banner was made using the Whimsy Build A Banner Die Set and some tiny red silk ribbon tied into bows at the ends. A red satin ribbon tied into a double flat bow for the horizontal...and that's it, folks!!!

So now it's time to hop along to see what some very amazing designers have done with these cute, cute, new stamps!!! Remember to leave comments so you will be in for today's draw to win a $15 Gift Certificate!!!

Over the next 3 days we will reveal 7 new rubber stamps, illustrated by Mi Ran exclusively for Whimsy Stamps. All of the new rubber stamps will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday, July 16th. For this release, we are excited to be joined by guest designers Alyce Keegan and Mariska van der Veer as well as the Art by MiRan digital design team.

PRIZE ALERT ... We have hidden a fabulous prize of a $15 GIFT CERTIFICATE at one of the stops on today’s hop! We will draw the lucky winner from the comments left here and on today’s design team posts (listed below), so be sure to visit everyone and leave a comment to be entered into the draw.

For this SPECIAL OCCASION I have used the lovely Coventina to make a journal. The base of this journal and all DP came in a pack I bought at Michaels and it was so much fun to use it in this way. Coventina was a Romano-British goddess of wells and springs. So this little darling is really enjoying herself in the splashing water. She was colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding lots of Prisma Glitter for the water. The flowers are resting on cuts from the beautiful Feather and Nib die set from Whimsy Stamps. The flowers and self-adhesive pearls are all from WOC--I have used a Trellis Rose, Cottage Roses and Hip Rosebuds.

So now, it’s time to check out what these amazing designers have created with these new stamps. Don’t forget to leave a comment at every stop along the hop to be entered into the draw to win a $15 gift certificate.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you again tomorrow at the Whimsy Inspirations Blog for another fun day of inspiration! Enjoy hopping...Big hugs!!
