My First Pocket Pal Letter

Hello, everyone!!! I hope that your week is going well and that soon you will be enjoying a marvelous weekend!! We have had rain all week so sunshine would be a real treat!!

I guess with this posting I will have joined the latest craze in the papercrafting world---Pocket Pal Letters!!! It seems that they are EVERYWHERE!!! So here is my very first Pocket Pal Letter....

This is the front of my letter made to reciprocate a letter I received from Traci Savely...and admittedly I didn't know where to begin...hahaha  I have used papers from the Tilda Country Escape Paper Pad and used an 18 pocket page...9 on the front and 9 on the back. Each of the pockets has a small gift for the recipient. There are many instructions and examples over on You Tube for this phenomenon!! You can see on the spine, I have also used a resin flower, tiny bottles filled with fairy dust, and a pink bead charm. And here is the backside....

You can see that I have placed some tiny pearl embellies in the two diagonal pockets but the other pockets will remain a surprise until the recipient receives the letter.

Thank you so much for coming by and I hope to see you again real soon!! Until the next time, I send big hugs!!

Winner and Update!!

Happy Day to everyone!!! I can't believe that I haven't posted in one entire month and, believe me, it was not by choice. I have been totally out of commission!! I have had some pinched nerves in my left shoulder stemming from the neck vertebrae and have been unable to even use the computer. I have been going to physical therapy 3 times a week for the past several weeks and today is the first time I have really noticed a difference---anything but surgery!!!! But anyway, I have decided the Golden Years are not so golden after all!!! But it is nice to be back and to finally try to catch up!!

Sorry I am so late in naming the winner for the fabulous $50 Gift Certificate to Art Attack Supplies and hope you understand the reason..lol  Thank you all so much for participating in the anniversary celebration at Traci's shop and for the lovely comments you made about my latest projects. Mr Random.org has made his selection and the winner is.....

Congratulations, Sharee!! Please leave a comment on this posting so that others know you have claimed your prize and send me an email so that I can arrange for you to shop at Art Attack Supplies!!

Have you all heard of the latest crafting craze???? Pocket Pal Letters??? Well I have completed one and will be back tomorrow to give you a look at it to see what you think!! Until then I send BIG HUGS to each of you!!!

AN EXCITING GIVEAWAY.....and a few little projects!!!

Happy Monday, everyone!!! I hope you all have had a delightful weekend!! Can you believe that I have windows and doors open letting the breeze blow through??? How wonderful!!! Is SPRING nearby???? Crossing my fingers here!!!

When I started my crafting adventure almost 10 years, the first two little characters I fell in love with were Magnolia Tilda from Sweden AND Tilda from Norway which is designed by the amazing Tone Finnanger. Magnolia Tilda was much easier to get in my hands but I still tried my best to keep up  with the Tilda Norway products. Years ago, Tone actually made it possible for me to order directly from Panduro Crafts which we can no longer do. However I have found a delightful shop in the US who can secure almost all of the Tilda Norway products and I am a very happy lady because of it. The very talented Traci Savely has a magnificent shop called Art Attack Supplies. This shop is fairly new but amazing in the variety of products stocked there.

You all know that for years I was strictly a Magnolia Tilda fan but lately I have renewed my love for Tilda of Norway! Today I want to share with you several projects I have made at the Art Attack and Tilda Friends Facebook page for swaps and challenges using Tilda Norway products. I hope you like them!!

The first is a tag I made for a swap using the Tilda Happiness is Homemade paper pad. Each paper pad has not only lovely papers but sheets of delightful diecuts as well. Here is the front and back of my tag...

Typically Jacque, but with some new characters....smiles!!!

Next I was in a swap to make a babushka doll using Tilda fabrics which you can also find HERE.

The little doll is about 8+" tall and I decorated a matching box to send along a few little gifts with the doll. You can see a video with all of the information HERE.

Lately, I participated in a Tilda swap to make embellishments...2 clothespins, 2 hearts/with hearts, and 2 embellies of one's choice...so this is what I made using the Country Escape collection...

I decorated 4 clothespins with paper, crocheted flowers and pearls, 2 rosette medallions with wooden hearts, open roses, and crocheted doilies, 4 paper bows (in a box I made), and a desktop clothespin decorated with a muslin rosette, leaf appliques, an open rose and a tile button. I hope you like my creations!!

And now for some excitement!!!!

To celebrate the One Year Anniversary of Art Attack Supplies and to thank Traci for her wonderful customer service, I am having a giveaway of a $50 Gift Card to her shop. Traci is offering 15% off of everything in her shop for the month of March, her celebration month. So go over and have a look around!! You will be surprised at the variety of products!! AND Traci will handle Special Orders with just a simple email to her!!! Now what am I asking for this tremendous giveaway??

WINNERS.....and a couple ATC Easel Cards

Happy Friday, everyone!! I hope you all had a marvelous week and are looking forward to an even better weekend!! We have had several days of rain and more for the weekend but I am NOT complaining. It is MUCH better than ice and snow. I am hoping for no more of that white stuff this year!

I would like to thank all of you for coming by and for commenting on my little Wee Springtime card for the new release at Whimsy Stamps. Mr Random.org has made his selections and the winners are:

Congratulations, Ladies! Please leave a comment on this posting so that others know you have claimed your prize and send me an email with your mailing information before this Sunday at midnight my time.

I recently participated in a challenge at Crafters With Artitude on Facebook and the requirement was to make 2 easel ATC cards which I had never done before. Thought I would show them to you to see what you think of them.

Keep in mind that these little cards are only 2 1/2" X 3 1/3" (64mm X 89mm)!!! This is far from the usual 6" X 6" cards I usually make!! I used some little prints from Crafty Secrets. I would love to know what you think of them!!

Thank you all so very much for coming by!! It is always such a joy to see your smiling faces here! Until the next time, big hugs!!!
